Spanish students will visit the Finca Tres Peñas guided by Manolo, its owner. This way they will learn directly from an expert about the influence of climate change in the agriculture of Lanzarote.
The Finca Tres Peñas is a farm which produces ecological products since 2001. These green products are cultivated free from pesticides and herbicides and are very beneficial for the health. They reach the consumer only a few hours after they have been collected so are truly fresh.
The Spanish students will learn about the difficulties of cultivating crops in a desert climate; they will also be able to use the language structures learned in class to comment and make different types of questions related to the subject.
Also, an expert will explain the agricultural problems found in Lanzarote. Students will have the chance to give their opinions and make proposals for this ambitious project.
