It is Co Co Lingua in Yaiza and their website is https://cocolingua.com/en/ . Elvia is the owner and she is extremely accommodating and flexible with any learning and a truly lovely person. There are three rooms with whiteboards and the tutors are extremely knowledgeable, patient, kind, fun and their help is never ending! Elvia will assess your level by either discussing what you want and talking about the options to suit you best or emailing, to make sure you are on the right level course. There are lots of courses to choose from to suit different levels, different times and different needs. If I was there for a long time I would do the residents course. They understand each students knowledge level and make sure the students have as much learning as possible, but have an amazing aptitude to understand and be certain the students are not overwhelmed – you go home feeling you have achieved and look forward to the next lesson and not daunted! I find it very exciting. Their help is so very welcome. The classes consist of various teaching methods so you learn in different ways and they provide all the materials you need (bring your own notebook and pen).
I am going there next week for an ‘intensive 20 unit week’ and there will be three students, a married couple whom I have met before and live not far from Carlos Park plus me. The classes take up to 6 students. On my course we have three hours teaching with a coffee break and then you have some homework for the next day which is excellent. They are very well organised and everything is very well planned for each lesson and all ready for the students.
