Friday 11th April at 17:30h, by the Spanish Students and friends of the Co Co Lanzarote Language School.

Galería Yaiza was founded 30 years ago by the artist Veno and his wife and was Lanzarote’s first art gallery. The renovation of the historical country house and the creation and opening of the gallery was honoured with the generous support of Cesar Manrique, for whom the existence of an art gallery on an island of artists was evidently desirable.

During the last 30 years, Galería Yaiza has tried to bring together the best local, national and international artists that have a bond with Lanzarote in order to bring them closer to their public. The continuously changing collection currently presents about 20 artists and the Spanish students and Co Co Lanzarote’s friends can view their work during a guided tour of the gallery. The visit will be round off with a glass of wine.

Galería Yaiza is located in the centre of Yaiza, about 100 metres away from the church, as one heads towards Playa Blanca, on the left hand side.
